Live Video Conferencing (SKYPE)
Who should use video conferencing?
We encourage everyone to seriously consider video conferencing (Skype) as the primary instructional modality or use part time. We also provide in person instruction at our location in Southampton PA or at your business if it is nearby.
Our course is presented by a Licensed Speech-Language pathologist with specialized certification in American accent training.
Why is this important?
Adults can have many types of overlooked speech problems such as fluency, difficulty in articulation, voice problem and lisps. We are dual specialists in accent and regional modification and speech and language pathology. This allows us to specifically identify and correct often overlooked speech issues so you can effectively communicate.
What is video conferencing and how does it work?
Video conferencing is the ability for two or more people to communicate face to face online through their computers. Each participant needs a web-cam either built in to their computer or mounted on or near it. When all parties are transmitting their video through a common online program (such as Skype or face to face with a smartphone), they are able to speak to each other in real time. The course includes the same lessons and information as you would in-person.
